Why create a problem?

Why create a problem?.

I think the reasons are simple.
1) punish the other party.
2) exert total control over information the children can learn by proximity.
3) to be able to say “they haven’t seen ____ in years” implying it is the alienated parents choice.
4) Because they wrongly believe that they are protecting the children.
And finally “because they can” be ALL to the children, like being a GOD.
